During our walk through this beautiful neighborhood, Nora will trace the Spanish, indigenous and other influences that have formed Oaxacan cuisine, offering an informative and memorable experience for all lovers of good food.

Morning Taco Tour with a Cooking Class
Tacos for breakfast? Yes!!! It’s the fillings that make morning tacos different. These are not the typical taco fillings found in the United States, but rather meats, vegetables and other ingredients that have been prepared overnight to be eaten for breakfast. We will meet early and visit two food stalls where you can sample typical street-style morning tacos. The third stop will be at a local favorite sit-down location to continue your morning taco exploration. After that, we will go to our local market and then on to Nora’s house for a cooking class where you will learn to prepare one type of morning taco, with all the trimmings. And of course, after the work is done you will be able to sit down and enjoy the results!
